Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc signing his book

Cabinetmaker and marquetry maker trained at the École Boulle and designer with a degree from Ensci Paris , Jean Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc has developed a cross-over between art and design. He began his career designing furniture for the Taller de Arquitectura Ricardo Bofill for 4 years. Between 1999 and 2011, Jean-Baptiste became the Creative Director of Cristallerie Daum ; he then led a creative policy involving creators from all over the world for the production of limited editions. Jean Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc takes part in numerous collective exhibitions. In 2010, he was the director artist of the exhibition ” Un regard d’Obsidienne ” and brings together 12 creators around him to create exceptional pieces.

Jean Baptiste has been running Studio JBSB for several years and collaborates with many brands including Assa Abloy, Christofle, Cristal Saint Louis, Hermès, Ligne Roset, LVMH…

Jean Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc designed the Bamboo collection for cub-ar.

He participated in the exhibition “A mirror of obsidian” in 2018, for which he created mirrors and jewelry.

Awards and Recognition :

Jean Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc has won numerous prizes, including the Talent for Elegance awarded by the Sommet du Luxe et de la Création and the Janus de l’Industrie for the Feeling collection by Saint-Gobain Glass. In 2014, he participated in the first Académie des Savoir Faire of the Hermès Foundation.
